Eastern Shore Heritage Spotlight Series
Every Thursday, at 7 PM in the Clam Factory, local history experts and enthusiasts will present a ½ hour illustrated “talk” on a local history topic followed by a brief Q&A. Bar service will be available for those who wish to enjoy a spirited beverage along with their history lesson.
There is no additional charge to attend these talks beyond regular admission, however seating is limited so reservations are required. (Society members get free admission).
July 22th: 1940s Packaging & the Hosking General Store
Emma Sanders and Thea Wilson-Hammond will be presenting about the 1940s Packaging project they have done for the Hosking General Store at Memory Lane Heritage Village. Emma will recount her research, through which she has recovered lots of authentic packaging from products that the Hosking Store used to sell in the 1940s.
All buildings will be open for a self-guided Evening Tour. It will be just like visiting during the day.
Cancellations: If you have reserved a seat and cannot attend, please email us asap at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 902-845-1937 and confirm your cancellation so others can attend.
