Eastern Shore Heritage Spotlight Series
Every Thursday, at 7 PM in the Clam Factory, local history experts and enthusiasts will present a ½ hour illustrated “talk” on a local history topic followed by a brief Q&A. Bar service will be available for those who wish to enjoy a spirited beverage along with their history lesson.
There is no additional charge to attend these talks beyond regular admission, however seating is limited so reservations are required. (Society members get free admission).
July 29th: A Short History of Fog on the Eastern Shore*
Dr. Sara Spike will be sharing her research on the cultural significance of fog in the history of Atlantic Canada, one of the foggiest places in the world. She will use local historical examples from the Eastern Shore to reveal how fog has shaped daily rural life along our coast in a range of interesting ways.

All buildings will be open for a self-guided Evening Tour. It will be just like visiting during the day.
